To work in the Lower Division Math Lab applicants must have successfully completed at least one 200- level math course (preferably CALC I). Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 with a 3.0 average in Math courses tutored.
To work in the Upper Division Math Lab, applicants must have successfully completed (with B or higher) Calculus II & III. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a 3.0 average in Math courses tutored.
To work as a Science, Computer Science & Computer Engineering (CSCE), Engineering, or Nursing tutor, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a minimum of a B (3.0) in subject(s) tutored.
Prior tutoring experience is preferred, but not required. Training provided upon hire.

This position is located at the University campus in Anchorage. This is part-time, non-exempt Student Assistant 2 position with an hourly rate of $15.26.
