Job Summary/Basic Function
Looking for engineering tutors who supports students in developing a strong understanding of engineering concepts, problem-solving techniques, and analytical skills across various engineering disciplines. This role involves providing one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, assisting students with coursework, and promoting effective study strategies.Becoming a engineering tutor will require and provide additional training.

**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire, and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications
Completed the following Engineering courses with a B+ or better, or better:
  • ENGR 1000 (Intro to Engineering)
  • ENGR 2010 (Statics)
  • ENGR 2030 (Dynamics)
  • ENGR 2300 (Thermodynamics)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in engineering subjects
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, reliable, and a passion for tutoring
