STEM Program Coordinator

Details: High Touch High Tech Chicagoland is looking for a STEM Program Coordinator to join our team. In assuming the position as our STEM Program Coordinator one will assist the Assistant Director in development of after school enrichments, clubs, STEM events, and in school workshops . This position will take on dual responsibility for remote office work along with traveling to locations to instruct and engage with our in school and after school participants and clientele. In assistance with program development you will also have the chance to uphold the prestigious title as one of our STEM Educators with HTHT Chicagoland. We are looking for an excited individual ready to help influence young minds in the world of STEM by teaching our Hands-on science workshops.

Duties: The STEM Program Coordinator is expected to travel to Schools, Park Districts, Libraries, Early Education Centers, and also conduct Special Events. Within the Chicagoland area.

In assuming the position as our STEM Program Coordinator one will assist the Assistant Director in programming for in school & after school curriculum, holiday break camps, and summer camps at our remote office location in Villa Park, IL. Expectations will be within packing workshop materials, presenting workshops and programming to clientele, and building relationships with clientele with marketing and development. High Touch High Tech will provide you with all materials and training needed.

Qualifications: A Good Candidate will have experience teaching within a formal classroom setting or related experience in the educational field.

Degree within the Sciences, Education, or 3-5 years experience in a related field.

Valid Drivers License and a reliable vehicle is a must.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary: $25 Hr plus Travel Stipend (0.70 to the mile) with room for growth. Minimum of 15-25 hours per week.
