Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, and supporting the culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper chemical use.
  • Dispose of garbage and waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed.
  • Restock clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in the appropriate locations.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules are followed and documented.
  • Maintain cleanliness in storage rooms, pantries, and kitchen corridors.
  • Support chefs and servers with setting up kitchen or banquet stations.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures as per company and local regulations.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a stewarding or kitchen helper role is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
