Job Summary

A Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen and food service areas. They support kitchen operations by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, handling waste disposal, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and workstations.
• Dispose of garbage and maintain waste segregation procedures.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic support tasks.
• Ensure proper storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Refill cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues.
• Support banquet or restaurant operations during busy hours
