Steward - Dairy Factory

Key Responsibilities:

Sanitation and Cleaning:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all dairy processing equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Ensure that all cleaning agents and sanitizers are used according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Regularly check and clean storage areas, ensuring all items are properly organized and labeled.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor and report any potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor.

Quality Control:

• Assist in maintaining high standards of product quality and hygiene throughout the production process.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Record and maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation as required by quality assurance protocols.

Inventory and Supplies:

• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor to order necessary supplies in a timely manner.
• Properly store and handle all chemicals and cleaning agents, following safety data sheet (SDS) guidelines.

Operational Support:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of dairy processing equipment as needed.
• Provide support to production staff during peak times or as directed by the Manager.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in sanitation or food safety preferred.
• Previous experience in a dairy processing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices, including the safe handling of chemicals.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a dairy processing facility, which may involve exposure to cold temperatures, humidity, and noise.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
