Stewards (Luxury Hospitality)

The Steward plays an essential role in supporting Culinary and Food & Beverage operations by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across kitchen and back-of-house areas within a luxury hotel environment. This role is vital in maintaining smooth kitchen workflow and upholding five-star safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, wash, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware in accordance with hotel procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchens, storage areas, and back-of-house facilities at all times
  • Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure proper waste management, segregation, and disposal in line with hygiene and environmental standards
  • Support the culinary team by ensuring a steady supply of clean equipment and utensils
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen deliveries when required
  • Immediately report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Follow all hotel health, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • Provide operational support during events, banquets, and peak service periods

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Steward in a luxury hotel or high-standard hospitality environment is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of cleaning agents, equipment handling, and safety practices
  • Strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
  • Dependable, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high operational standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Steward in a luxury 5 star hotel:: 3 years (Preferred)
