Overview:
Stock Clerks provide counter service to RGRTA employees to issue parts that are currently in inventory. The Stock Clerk will also perform various inventory control support functions such as: cycle counts, data entry in inventory systems, and stocking shelves.
This is an hourly position and the rate of pay will be $18.50 to $21.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:

Attention to detail

Meet and greet customers

Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (Signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)

Pull inventory from shelves and issue to RGRTA personnel

Inform customers when requested parts are available
Inventory Management Requirements

Generating Sales Orders for parts issued

Performing weekly inventory cycle counts

Restocking shelves
Other Requirements

Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Provide 24 hour support at the RGRTA location during emergencies

Travel to vendor locations to pickup parts

Assist with inventory research projects as requested

Adhere to required procedures

Assist with Store Manager duties as assigned

Assist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory system

Assist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory system

Assist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at site
Qualifications:
- 1 year computer experience
-
24-hour availability
-
Valid Driver’s License with two years driving experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and adhere to required procedures

1 year Inventory experience

1 year Customer Service Role

Experience in inventory/point of sale applications

ASE Certification

1 year experience in Asset Works software package

1 year experience with transit bus parts

1 year experience with auto and/or HD truck parts
Physical Requirements: Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Essential Requirements: Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Walking
