MAIN PURPOSE

The Stock Controller is in charge of maximising the performance of the boutique through proper management of stocks and back office administration in the boutique.

Montblanc Boutique – Mall of the Emirates

CONTEXT
Based in the Boutique, reporting to the Boutique Manager, representing the brand inside and outside the boutique

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring good products care and good stocks organisation in order to optimise sales.
  • Making sure that all products are properly labelled, boxed and properly stored in the stockroom or the shop floor cupboards and ensuring that all stock zones are clearly marked and tidy.
  • Physically receiving stock in the boutique in the stock area, checking that stock delivered corresponds to the invoices and receiving goods in the system.
  • Searching for missing products, double-checking all stocks, and find explanations for stock discrepancies.
  • Managing all product flows and movements between the boutique and/or other boutiques in the UAE (as well as their return to the boutique).
  • Performing stock transfers between boutiques when needed and ensure they are recorded at the time of the movement.
  • Performing rotative and full inventories counts, as required and defined by Richemont Procedure and guideline.
  • Supporting the introduction and maintenance of auto-replenishment to ensure sufficient availability of products on the shop floor with retail coordination.

  • Checking store capacities and suggesting necessary modifications in view of sales potential.
  • Being fully conversant with the product range and provide an efficient service to all Sales Associates (preparation of products, advice on stock availability, knowledge on products and their features/accessories, etc.).
  • Perform general office duties, including managing correspondence and organizing company records (deposit filing, AML, checking daily invoices if correctly filed, prior to manager’s check, applying for mall permits and permissions, etc);
  • Ensure all Richemont and Montblanc policy and procedure are implemented and followed as per compliance
  • To be aware of Company and Boutique Security procedures and ensure they are followed at all times
  • Guarantees the application and reliability of all financial procedures including opening and closing procedures
  • Executes and provides cash-desk reports when requested
  • To develop an in-depth knowledge of Montblanc and its products and use this information when communicating with clients. This includes being fully conversant with all services available in the boutique including product care, aftersales and stock availability as well as sourcing items not currently in the boutique
  • To assist in the co-ordination of in-store promotional events
  • To respect grooming standards and all the internal rules and procedures related to this
