Job Title: Stock Controller
Role and Company Overview:
LEDFlex Group was established in 2010 after identifying a gap in the market for a more comprehensive range of linear lighting products and has now grown into a leading technology supplier. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. At LEDFlex we continue to lead the way in performance, efficiency and ecological friendly exterior and interior projects.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all branches. The role includes conducting regular stock audits, reconciling discrepancies, and recording all stock movements in the system. The Stock Controller will coordinate stock transfers, validate stock transactions, and ensure compliance with company policies. They will analyze sales trends to forecast stock requirements and support timely replenishment. The position also involves preparing stock reports for management and implementing measures to reduce stock loss. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and inventory software proficiency are essential for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all branches.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate stock transfers between branches and warehouses.
- Track and record all stock movements in the inventory system.
- Validate and process stock-related transactions (receipts, issues, returns).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for stock handling.
- Analyze sales trends and forecast stock requirements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborate with procurement and branch managers for timely stock replenishment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
- Implement measures to reduce stock loss due to theft, damage, or mismanagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory checks.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in stock control or inventory management (preferably multi-branch).
- Strong knowledge of inventory and stock control processes.
- Analytical skills for forecasting and trend analysis.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
