STOCK CREW
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly - PART-TIME, Evenings
JOB SUMMARY:
To unload freight from trucks and stock merchandise in the correct aisles and shelves throughout the store.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The Stock crew splits and stock all freight. They are NOT considered a regular service teammate at Farm & Home Supply and are not to be required to operate the cash registers.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and inform them of helpful product knowledge.
- Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise space allocation.
- Match the UPC number on merchandise to the appropriate shelf label.
- Operate handheld device.
- Remove damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
- Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow loss prevention and safety procedures including regular safety checks.
- Attend store and job-related meetings.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and coworkers.
- Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Complete certified training to operate pallet jacks and tow motors. (Must be at least 18 years old)
- Lift up to and including 50 lbs.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Age requirement is 18 YEARS OLD and must possess great customer service and communication skills.
