As a Stock Room Assistant, you will be an essential part of a customer service driven team, a go-to person to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of maintaining an organized and well-stocked store environment for both employees and customers.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection

• Receive incoming merchandise shipments accurately and verify their contents against packing lists.
• Inspect items for quality, quantity, and any damages or discrepancies.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the store manager per policy.

Stock & Inventory Management

• Ensure efficient and organized storage of merchandise in the stockroom.
• Properly tag items for security
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and minimize damage.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock counts.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with the store team to meet customer needs and assist with customer inquiries
• Assist with special projects, such as seasonal inventory changes and store displays.
• Provide support to your colleagues in the store floor, helping with replenishment and fulfil sizes and other items requests

Stock Replenishment

• Restock merchandise on the sales floor as needed to maintain an appealing shopping environment.
• Collaborate with sales associates to ensure merchandise availability on the sales floor.

Maintenance and Cleanliness

• Keep the stockroom clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance check and reporting

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
• Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations.
