Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and displays accurately, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing
• Operate the Square (POS) system efficiently to process transactions quickly and accurately
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and assist with product demos when needed
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment with proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience
• Upsell products by suggesting complementary items and promoting current promotions or specials
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers using clear phone etiquette and friendly interaction skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transactions
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform stocking duties efficiently
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
• Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
