SUMMARY

Responsible for making sure that consumers have access to the merchandise they are looking for by organizing product displays and storage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service in the Primm Center outlets.
  • Clean shelves with damp cloth, as needed, when stocking.
  • Maintain shelf allocations by stocking merchandise in appropriate area.
  • Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves.
  • Ensure that receiving, preparation and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store and enhance the appearance of the store.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
  • Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause employee or customer accidents.
  • Wear appropriate uniform, complete with name badge, when on duty, has a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the company dress code.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous convenience-store or retail experience beneficial.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Health Card & Alcohol Card

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
