GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years experience in storage tank design, engineering and procurement
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (master’s preferred)
• Proven experience with API650, AWWA D100 and similar code in tank design and analysis
• Expertise in API, AWWA, ASTM, EN and ASME codes
• A working knowledge of industry standards
• Advanced proficiency in engineering softwares such as AutoCad, AMETANK, Solidworks, TANK, or similar tank design software.
• Project management knowledge
• Knowledge of static equipments such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, stacks, etc.
• Advanced English both spoken and written (mandatory for technical reports/presentations)
• Field experience in petrochemical/refinery projects is a plus
• Analytical thinking, team member, self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver
• No restriction for traveling

Responsibilities

• Designing and analyzing atmospheric storage tanks
• Performing design calculations for tanks, heating coils within tanks, support calculations, etc.
• Participating in proposal studies, preparing tender documentation
• Preparing the Engineering Documents/Deliverables such as mechanical datasheet, engineering drawing, technical specifications, material requisitions, technical evaluation reports)
• Vendor follow-up activities. Review Vendor technical drawings, calculations, documentations for compliance with Client/regulatory/Code requirements.
• Providing engineering support during fabrication, assembly and field testing.
• Technical coordination between clients, suppliers, third party.
• Planning and carrying out the necessary activities according to monthly progress targets
