Stores Management:
- Manage daily operations of the store, including receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials, components, tools, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Ensure proper storage practices to avoid material damage and ensure traceability.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
Dispatch Management:
- Plan and execute timely dispatches as per customer requirements and production schedules.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams for order planning and fulfillment.
- Prepare dispatch documents like invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills.
- Arrange transportation and liaise with transporters to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track shipments and resolve any transportation or delivery issues.
Team & Process Management:
- Supervise storekeepers, dispatch personnel, and loaders.
- Implement and monitor 5S and safety practices in store and dispatch areas.
- Improve processes for efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to inventory and dispatch.
