Job Summary

The Store Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stock movement, material issue/receipt, and ensuring proper documentation. The role demands accuracy, organisation, and coordination with internal teams to maintain efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall store operations, ensuring materials are received, stored, and issued properly.
• Maintain accurate records of stock (marble, granite, tiles, and related products).
• Conduct regular stock checks, reconciliations, and audits.
• Ensure timely updating of inventory records in software/ERP/manual registers.
• Coordinate with the purchase, sales, and accounts departments for smooth workflow.
• Maintain proper storage, labelling, and handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Prepare reports on stock availability, material usage, and shortages.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards within the store premises.
• Monitor inward and outward movement of goods, including documentation such as GRN, challans, and invoices.
• Supervise helpers/labourers for material loading/unloading.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or 12th (relevant experience in the same industry)
• 2–4 years of experience in store/inventory management (preferably in the construction, marble, or building materials industry).
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel.
• Strong organisational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to lead a team of store assistants and coordinate effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
