Store In-Charge

1. Educational Background

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (B.Com / BBA / Supply Chain / Business Administration preferred).
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Control is an added advantage.

2. Relevant Experience

• 3–5 years of experience working as a Storekeeper, Store In-charge, Logistics Officer, or Inventory Controller—preferably in:
• - Wooden furniture manufacturing, Interior fit-out companies, Modular Kitchen/wardrobe manufacturing units etc.
• Proven experience in managing factory stores, stock handling, and documentation.

3. Job Knowledge and Expertise

• The candidate must have knowledge of:

A. Wood Types & Raw Materials

• Solid woods (e.g., teak, oak, mahogany, beech)
• Engineered woods (plywood, MDF, HDF, chipboard)
• Veneers, laminates, PVC sheets

B. Hardware Items

• Hinges, drawer channels, screws, fasteners
• Handles, knobs, locks, kitchen hardware
• Wardrobe sliding systems, accessories etc.

C. Finishing Materials

• Polish materials (NC, PU, melamine, lacquer, stains)
• Paint materials (primer, enamel, thinner, hardener)

D. Other Factory Consumables

• Glue/adhesives
• Sandpaper, brushes, rollers
• Packing materials

4. Skills & Competencies

Inventory & Store Management

• Stock receiving, issuance, and reporting
• Daily stock updating, bin card maintenance
• Store layout and product labeling
• Stock audit and variance control

Logistics Coordination

• Material requisition planning
• Supplier follow-up for delivery
• Coordination with purchase department
• Dispatch planning for finished goods

Computer & System Skills

• MS Excel (must know formulas, inventory tracking)
• ERP knowledge (QuickBooks, or any inventory software)
• Ability to generate GRNs, stock reports, purchase requests

5. Other Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of safety procedures (especially for chemical materials)
• Ability to work extended hours during production peaks
• Integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all activities.

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month
