Position Title: Store In-Charge

Job Summary

The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing daily store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient handling and storage of medical devices and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or computerized)
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical counts
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of medical items

2. Goods Handling

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming medical devices and materials
• Ensure proper storage to prevent damage or contamination
• Issue materials as per authorized requests
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable

3. Store Operations

• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Ensure adherence to company and healthcare regulations
• Maintain store documentation (GRNs, invoices, stock registers)
• Coordinate with procurement and other departments

4. Staff Supervision

• Supervise store assistants and helpers
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
• Train staff on proper handling of medical equipment

5. Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
• Report discrepancies, damages, or losses
• Support internal and external audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Experience: 5-7 years in storekeeping, preferably in medical or healthcare sector
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software)
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork

Working Conditions
