JOB DESCRIPTION: STORE IN-CHARGE
1. Purpose of the Job
The Store In-Charge is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, stock organization, and maintaining optimal stock levels. The role also involves supervising store assistants, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining proper storage standards, hygiene, and compliance with company procedures.
2. Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesA. Store Management
- Overall responsible and accountable for Warehouses operations, including cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure proper stocking of materials received from vendors for easy access, identification, verification, handling, and maintenance.
- Strictly implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to prevent expired or obsolete stock.
- Take necessary action for disposal of scrap materials as per company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum order levels are maintained to avoid shortages.
- Supervise store assistants and delegate tasks effectively.
B. Reporting
- Prepare and submit:
- Daily FG Report (Sauces Group) to Management
- Material Requisition (RM & PM) based on Sales Order requirements to the Purchase Department
- Daily Stock Reports for RM and PM
- Review Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) prior to system entry.
C. Receiving
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department regarding delivery schedules to ensure adequate storage space.
- Receive materials from suppliers based on LPO (Local Purchase Order).
- Inspect incoming materials for:
- Physical condition
- Production Date (PD) and Expiry Date (ED)
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for pre-acceptance inspection.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for all received items.
- Submit all relevant documents (Invoices, Delivery Notes) to the Purchase Department.
D. Issuance
- Monitor and control issuance of materials to Production against approved Material Requisition Forms.
- Ensure proper documentation for all issued materials.
- Issue uniforms and safety shoes to factory staff as required.
E. Dispatch & Delivery
- Coordinate with the Logistics Department based on confirmed dispatch plans to ensure timely availability of goods.
- Ensure maximum loading capacity utilization during dispatch.
- Arrange loading manpower when required.
- Supervise loading activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
3. Qualifications and RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Logistics
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Administration
- Or any related field
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse/store management
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems / ERP
- Strong understanding of FIFO, stock control, and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with GRN, LPO, stock reporting, and documentation processes

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
