Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Store Keeper to manage our construction site stores and ensure smooth operations of material handling, inventory control, and supply coordination. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in storekeeping within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials as per company standards.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through daily record keeping and periodic physical verification.
• Issue materials to various project sites based on approved material requisitions.
• Monitor stock movements and prepare timely purchase requests for replenishment.
• Maintain store documentation — GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and reports.
• Coordinate with the Purchase and Site Engineering teams for timely availability of materials.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or unused materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and material consumption reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and store management practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software (ERP, Tally, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle material lifting and store logistics when needed.

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).

Salary: Based on Experience
