Job Title: Store Keeper
Department: Stores / Materials Management
Reporting To: Store Incharge / Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and record of all materials, tools, and equipment at the site store.
- Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials as per company procedures.
- Conduct daily and weekly stock verification to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with the procurement and project teams for timely material availability.
- Inspect and verify materials received against purchase orders, delivery challans, and quality standards.
- Maintain proper storage conditions to prevent damage, deterioration, or loss of materials.
- Keep updated records of material stock levels in ERP/manual registers.
- Prepare and submit material consumption and stock reports regularly.
- Handle returnable and non-returnable materials efficiently and maintain related documentation.
- Support in internal and external audits by providing required records and documents.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.
- Preference for candidates with specialization or certification in Store Management / Inventory Control.
Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in construction / infrastructure / EPC projects.
- Knowledge of materials used in highway, railway, or industrial construction projects will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
