Position Overview

The Store/Showroom Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the bakery’s retail outlet, including staff supervision, customer service, sales performance, inventory control, and adherence to company standards. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store/showroom operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve high levels of customer service and sales.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock ordering, and reduce wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports.
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure adherence to brand standards.
  • Coordinate with the production, marketing, and finance teams to support business objectives.
  • Ensure staff schedules and attendance are managed effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Management, Retail Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in bakery, F&B, or FMCG.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
