Store Manager – Duties & Responsibilities (Warehouse & Inventory)
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth coordination between sales floor and warehouse activities
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, organization, and dispatch of goods
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability and prevent overstocking or stock shortages
- Conduct regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, and monthly) and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure accurate inventory records through proper documentation and inventory management systems
- Supervise, train, and schedule store and warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with procedures
- Implement proper storage, labeling, and handling standards to maintain product quality and safety
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely delivery of products
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and loss-prevention procedures
- Analyze inventory and sales reports to forecast demand and plan replenishment
- Reduce shrinkage, damages, and expired products through effective controls
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the store and warehouse
- Prepare reports on inventory status, warehouse performance, and operational efficiency
