<Responsibilities>
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to build a high-performing team.
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient management of sales, inventory, merchandising, and customer service standards.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising practices to optimize product availability.
- Handle all aspects of store administration such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements across all store activities.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting; oversee cashiering duties to maintain accuracy.
- Foster a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Lead shift management by organizing schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours while maintaining operational efficiency.
<Qualifications>
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery stores with supervisory responsibilities; assistant manager experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of retail math, sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage customers effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and leadership.
- Proficiency with POS systems, payroll software, bookkeeping tools, and general retail management applications.
- Experience with cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, and retail math calculations.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of wireless sales or marketing is advantageous but not required.
