Overview Of The Role:

The Store Manager oversees all aspects of the store's operations with a focus on sales growth and profitability. The role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining merchandising standards, and fostering a skilled and motivated team. Success in this position requires strategic planning and execution to meet financial targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

What You Will Do:

People Development / HR

  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates for the store.
  • Lead by example and provide training, development, and ongoing feedback on product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to recap performance and communicate new goals and procedures.

Customer Experience / Sales

  • Prioritize excellent customer service by executing the Customer Experience through regular assessment and coaching.
  • Maintain visibility on the selling floor to answer questions and support selling functions.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards, directives, and promotions, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Drive Sales & Profitability

  • Meet or exceed profitability expectations for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
  • Create and execute strategies to maximize sales while controlling expenses.

Operational Effectiveness

  • Control company assets by meeting loss prevention measures including inventory management.
  • Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Ability to implement and maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Strategic thinking and financial acumen.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager with a proven track record in driving sales and profit.
  • Proficiency in business English and report analysis skills.
  • Good computer skills with experience in Outlook, Excel, and SAP.
