Overview Of The Role:
The Store Manager oversees all aspects of the store's operations with a focus on sales growth and profitability. The role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining merchandising standards, and fostering a skilled and motivated team. Success in this position requires strategic planning and execution to meet financial targets and enhance the overall customer experience.
What You Will Do:
People Development / HR

Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates for the store.

Lead by example and provide training, development, and ongoing feedback on product knowledge and selling skills.

Conduct weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to recap performance and communicate new goals and procedures.
Customer Experience / Sales

Prioritize excellent customer service by executing the Customer Experience through regular assessment and coaching.

Maintain visibility on the selling floor to answer questions and support selling functions.

Implement visual merchandising standards, directives, and promotions, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Drive Sales & Profitability

Meet or exceed profitability expectations for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.

Create and execute strategies to maximize sales while controlling expenses.
Operational Effectiveness

Control company assets by meeting loss prevention measures including inventory management.

Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

High school education or equivalent preferred.

Minimum two years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager with a proven track record in driving sales and profit.

Proficiency in business English and report analysis skills.

Good computer skills with experience in Outlook, Excel, and SAP.
