Role Description:
The Store Officer will be responsible for managing medical and non-medical inventory within a healthcare facility. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking stock while ensuring compliance with healthcare quality standards, safety regulations, and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years storekeeping experience in UAE healthcare sector (mandatory)
- Knowledge of medical consumables, equipment, and pharmaceuticals is preferred
- Familiarity with DHA/MOH healthcare storage standards
- Experience in inventory control, stock audits, and reconciliation
- Proficient in MS Excel and inventory management systems
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- High attention to accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work independently and under supervision
- Good communication and coordination skills
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming medical and non-medical supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Issue materials as per approved requests and maintain proper documentation
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits
- Ensure proper storage conditions as per healthcare standards
- Monitor expiry dates and manage near-expiry or obsolete stock
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for stock replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of store areas
- Prepare inventory reports and support audits when required
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in inventory management systems
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage
