Store Operations Specialist

JOB PURPOSE

The Stores Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the stockroom team, overseeing operational processes, and enhancing the selling area to improve and fulfill the customer experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Organize and optimize stockroom processes to ensure items are displayed correctly, storage is efficient, and health and safety standards are strictly implemented.

- Manage and organize the shipment receiving process to ensure shop readiness and product availability, thereby enhancing the customer experience.

- Assist shop managers in managing the stock budget and achieving objectives timely, including store sales, store productivity, stock loss, and operational margin.

- Ensure continuous product availability by regularly replenishing stocks.

- Assist shop managers in managing shop inventory, including establishing stocking levels and monitoring supply and material disbursements to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Support shop managers by coordinating and regulating the allocation of manpower hours in the stockrooms, aligning stock-keepers' schedules with shipment deliveries and store sales.

- Oversee the development and motivation of the stockroom team, ensuring they understand the importance of stockroom processes and safety standards.


LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Fluency in English.

- Proficiency in MS Office and shop/stock management tools.


EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in a related field.


EXPERIENCE

Two to four years of experience in Retail, or a similar role.
