Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store & Purchase Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of store management, purchase operations, and inventory control within the FMCG / food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely updates in the system.
- Handle purchase requirements, vendor coordination, and follow-ups for timely procurement.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRN, invoices, purchase orders, and related records.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and prepare purchase requisitions accordingly.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and maintain hygiene standards as per industry requirements.
- Prepare reports and assist management in cost control and budgeting.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience in store and purchase functions, preferably in the FMCG / food industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Good computer literacy with fast and accurate typing skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Preferred Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce / Supply Chain / Food Technology preferred).
- Candidates with prior experience in the food industry will be given added preference.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
