Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for the best terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, and agreements.
- Ensure timely procurement of required goods and services while adhering to budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure availability.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term partnerships.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to maintain optimal inventory.
- Support audits, compliance, and documentation related to procurement.
- Track market trends and suggest cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement (industry-specific experience preferred).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing methods, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Zoho preferred).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
