Job Summary
The Stores & Purchase Executive is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of materials, maintaining accurate records, and supporting cost-effective purchasing operations in compliance with company policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesStores Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials.
- Issue materials to production and other departments as per authorized requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP / manual registers.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store.
Purchase Responsibilities
- Prepare purchase requisitions based on requirements from departments and inventory levels.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and support vendor evaluation.
- Issue purchase orders after obtaining necessary approvals.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Maintain vendor records and purchase documentation.

- Knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (Tally / SAP / Oracle preferred).
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2–5 years of experience in Stores & Purchase functions (manufacturing preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
