Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Maintain proper records of receipts, issuance, and stock levels.
- Organize and store items in designated locations for easy access and retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish inventory as needed.
- Issue materials and supplies based on authorized requisitions.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and complies with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile with system records.
- Maintain documentation of damaged, obsolete, or expired stock.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and audits.
- Operate store equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks (if applicable).
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock-keeping systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or inventory management software.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move items.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
