Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and shelve incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Inspect deliveries for discrepancies and report damages or shortages promptly.
• Organize and maintain inventory records using computerized systems or manual methods.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical stock counts with records.
• Ensure proper storage of items to maintain safety and accessibility.
• Label and arrange materials and supplies according to organizational standards.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized to facilitate efficient workflow.
• Prepare and package orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill requests and distribute supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of outgoing materials and equipment.
• Generate reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and adjustments.
• Assist in conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform data entry and update inventory records in the designated system.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Report any safety hazards or violations to management promptly.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Provide support and assistance during inventory-related activities and special projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in warehouse management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
