Storekeeper

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive incoming materials, equipment, and supplies and verify their accuracy against delivery documents.
• Inspect and ensure the quality and condition of received items, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
• Safely store materials and equipment in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels using inventory management software or manual tracking methods.
• Monitor inventory levels, anticipate reordering needs, and communicate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely restocking.
• Issue materials, tools, and equipment to construction crews as per their requirements and maintain records of issuances.
• Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate any discrepancies.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate the return of excess or unused materials and equipment to suppliers.
• Assist in preparing and packing materials for shipment to various construction sites.
• Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines, including the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper in the construction industry
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel for Reporting Requirements
• Can Join Immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
