About the Role

The Purchasing / Storekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of kitchen operations — from sourcing ingredients and supplies to maintaining organized storage and accurate records. This position bridges the culinary and administrative worlds, supporting chefs and management in achieving consistent quality and cost efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing of kitchen ingredients and supplies based on par levels and menu requirements

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely replenishment

• Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, and compliance with standards

• Coordinate with the culinary and cost control teams on orders and invoices

• Organize and maintain store areas according to hygiene and safety standards

• Conduct regular inventory counts and report variances

• Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO system)
