Procurement Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, subcontractor/suppliers evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Identifying potential subcontractors/suppliers and evaluating their products and services based on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Conduct technical and commercial reviews of subcontract offers, prepare comparisons, and facilitate negotiation processes to secure the best possible terms.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify procurement needs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Attend meetings with subcontractors/suppliers as needed.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer in Civil & Steel contracting company.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 6 years with minimum 3 years of experience in UAE, preferably in Civil Construction Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex procurement issues.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent command in English (speaking and writing)
  • Detail-oriented and technically sound with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 per month
