Senior Buyer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing products, negotiating with international suppliers, managing procurement activities, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires strong market awareness, vendor management skills, and the ability to align purchasing decisions with seasonal and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source equipment, goods, and services across multiple categories.
• Visit malls and markets regularly to check new collections and trends.
• Request and review samples from suppliers, ensuring alignment with budget and planning requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders based on approved budgets.
• Monitor sales reports and coordinate with the planning and operations team to forecast demand.
• Manage supplier communications across multiple regions (China, Brazil, France, Turkey, Thailand, etc.).
• Oversee shipment planning in coordination with operations, warehouse, and accounts teams.
• Maintain and update procurement records, including sample updates, orders, proforma invoices, and shipment plans.
• Ensure timely follow-up on sample development and order progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or Senior Buyer (preferably in fashion, retail, or consumer goods).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and market trends to support purchasing decisions.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of international sourcing and shipping processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software is an advantage.
