Store Keeper – Interior Fit-Out (10 Years Experience)
Job Description
1. Material Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming interior fit-out materials (gypsum, timber, hardware, paints, tools, etc.).
- Ensure materials match delivery notes, purchase orders, and project specifications.
- Organize materials properly in the store with correct labeling.
2. Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate stock records in the system and update daily stock ledgers.
- Conduct regular stock audits and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Prepare material request forms (MRF) and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
3. Site Coordination
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requests.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and site foremen regarding material requirements.
- Follow up on urgent material needs to avoid delays in project progress.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain GRN, MRN, Delivery Notes, Issue Vouchers, and Stock Registers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Ensure proper filing of all material-related documents for audits.
5. Tools & Equipment Management
- Track and manage tools, machinery, and consumables issued to site workers.
- Maintain a log for tools return and ensure proper condition before re-issuance.
- Arrange periodic servicing or repair of equipment.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and stacking of materials.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized store area.
7. Supplier & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and delivery drivers for smooth material receipt.
- Check for material damages and raise claims when necessary.
- Assist in planning deliveries based on project schedule.
