Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Organize and manage the storage area for easy access and safety.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments and transfers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage area.
- Assist in inventory forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Train and supervise junior staff, if applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage facility.
- Issue materials as per project or maintenance requirements
- Keep accurate stock records and documentation
- Coordinate with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of supplies
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in facility management or construction
- Knowledge of inventory control systems
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel / inventory software)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and integrity
