Storekeeper

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the complete flow of materials from the receiving stage through to delivery to the Assembly area. This role ensures accuracy and integrity of inventory records while adhering to established Stores processes and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the working area (stores).
  • Ensure compliance with forklift driving standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Receive all incoming goods from suppliers.
  • Unbox and verify materials against receiving documents.
  • Update verified materials in Oracle and move them to the next operation stage.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality departments to resolve non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Move accepted goods to designated storage locations (racks or Kardex) ensuring optimal space utilization.
  • Conduct physical counts and inventory reconciliation as required.
  • Manage transfer of parts to and from the paint shop prior to kitting and vice versa.
  • Perform picking of parts from racks and Kardex for kitting operations.
  • Ensure kitting is completed with 100% required and conforming parts.
  • Issue complete kits to assembly on a FIFO basis daily.
  • Perform any additional support tasks assigned by management.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For this Role, You Will Need:

Knowledge of material handling and inventory management systems (Oracle preferred).
