Storekeeper

Zahr Freighters is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our warehouse team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a candidate who can efficiently manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure smooth material flow within a fast-paced freight and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems.
• Organize and store goods properly to ensure easy retrieval and safety.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for stock replenishment.
• Prepare materials for dispatch and verify outgoing shipments.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and storage standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within the storage area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is an advantage.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in logistics or freight companies.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks and manage stock efficiently.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
