Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of goods in the warehouse. The role ensures accurate inventory control, safe handling of products, and smooth coordination with the warehouse, delivery, and receiving teams. The Storekeeper will maintain stock records and ensure that all products, including alcoholic beverages, are stored and handled according to company standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against delivery documents.
• Inspect goods for damages and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with monthly inventory audits.

Warehouse Operations

• Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of products.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of beverage products.
• Prepare and issue items based on delivery orders or internal requests.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers for order preparation and dispatch.

Documentation & Reporting

• Record all stock movements including receiving, issuing, and transfers.
• Maintain updated inventory logs and warehouse documentation.
• Report low stock levels, damages, or discrepancies to management.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure warehouse safety standards are followed.
• Handle alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or inventory controller preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Computer knowledge (Excel or inventory software).
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in beverage, FMCG, or alcohol distribution industry.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
