- Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment and compiles records of supply transactions, verify that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other areas.
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory systems.
- Compile the records of the supplies and check the supplies from time to time.
- Receive materials so distribute it to all stores at sites.
- Coordinate between all stores at sites.
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
- Advise internal users on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma.
- Experience of 1 year in Receiving or 2 years Storekeeping in a hotel.
- 3+ years of experience as store keeper or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Good Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
- Competencies in data entry, analysis and management.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
