Storekeeper (With basic Accounting Experience)

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper with basic accounting skills and knowledge of Dubai Mainland and Free Zone documentation procedures. The successful candidate will handle inventory control, assist with accounting records, and ensure all store-related documentation complies with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Storekeeping Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stocks
  • Ship the stocks on a daily basis to the Clients
  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders as needed.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure the storage space is clean, organized, and secure.

Basic Accounting Duties:

  • Record and update inventory transactions in the system.
  • Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Assist with stock valuation and cost tracking.
  • Prepare simple inventory and usage reports for the accounts department.
  • Maintain records for audits and support inventory-related financial reporting.
  • Manage petty cash (if applicable) and maintain related records.

UAE Documentation & Compliance:

  • Manage inventory and shipment documentation in line with Dubai Mainland and Free Zone regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain delivery notes, GRNs (Goods Received Notes), and LPOs (Local Purchase Orders).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, and warehouse officials for inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Customs and Free Zone Authority procedures (e.g., JAFZA, DAFZA, DMCC, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade documentation, import/export procedures, and relevant government portals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper, stock controller, or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and inventory systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or inventory software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
