Storekeeper with Odoo experience

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper with hands-on experience in using Odoo ERP to manage inventory and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day inventory tasks, ensuring efficient stock management, and maintaining accurate records of all materials and products. Your expertise in Odoo will play a key role in streamlining inventory processes, tracking stock levels, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by regularly monitoring stock and updating records in the Odoo system.
  • Perform stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records in Odoo.
  • Handle goods receipt, storage, and issue processes in the Odoo platform, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Stock Control & Organization:
  • Ensure that all products are properly labeled, categorized, and stored in their designated locations.
  • Monitor product expiry dates, if applicable, and ensure timely stock rotation.
  • Track slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend actions for disposal or redistribution.
  • Order Fulfillment:
  • Process and fulfill customer or internal orders accurately and on time, using Odoo for order tracking and stock allocation.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
  • Odoo ERP System Management:
  • Utilize Odoo’s inventory management module for all stock-related activities, including receiving, issuing, and tracking goods.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in Odoo for purchase orders, stock receipts, and deliveries.
  • Work closely with other departments (sales, procurement, finance) to ensure seamless integration of Odoo system processes.
  • Quality Control:
  • Perform quality checks on received items, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to suppliers or the relevant departments promptly.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Generate regular inventory reports and stock updates for management, identifying trends or areas requiring attention.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions in Odoo, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Health and Safety:
  • Ensure that the store/warehouse environment is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Safely operate any equipment, such as forklifts or stock handling tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience using Odoo ERP (Inventory, Purchasing, Sales modules).
  • Familiarity with stock control and inventory management best practices.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting within the Odoo system.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and health regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar industry or with similar ERP systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, typically during regular business hours.
  • Some overtime may be required during peak periods or special projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
