OVERVIEW: The Storeroom Clerk at Boca West Country Club is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing stock, and supporting the efficient operation of the storeroom. This role involves receiving, inspecting, and storing supplies and equipment, ensuring proper documentation, and assisting with inventory control to support various club departments.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory Receiving & Storage

  • Receive and inspect incoming supplies and equipment for quality and accuracy.
  • Properly store items in designated locations within the storeroom.
  • Maintain organized storage areas for easy access and inventory control.
  • Record and document all incoming items accurately in inventory management systems.

Inventory Management & Control

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, usage, and reorder points.
  • Support the timely replenishment of supplies to prevent shortages.
  • Assist with inventory audits and reporting.

Stock Organization & Maintenance

  • Ensure supplies are stored safely, cleanly, and in accordance with safety standards.
  • Label and identify stock for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Assist in organizing stockrooms for maximum efficiency and safety.

Operational Support

  • Support departmental requests for supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with the distribution of supplies to various departments.
  • Support the procurement process by providing inventory data and ordering assistance.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow safety protocols for handling supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free storeroom environment.
  • Report safety hazards, damages, or supply shortages to management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, or storeroom operations preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Reliable, responsible, and proactive attitude.
