RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES- Under the supervision of the Purchasing Agent.
- Responsible for receiving, controlling, storing, and accurately issuing all items stored in inventory.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Essential: Seeing, hearing, and speaking, standing, walking, stooping/bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, squatting, twisting body, lifting weight up to 55 pounds, pushing and pulling usual weight of up to 100 pounds, carrying weight up to 55 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm and hand motions.
- Continuous: Seeing, hearing, speaking, standing, walking, stooping/bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, squatting, twisting body, lifting weight up to 55 pounds, pushing and pulling usual weight of up to 100 pounds, carrying weight up to 55 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm and hand motions.
- Operates copier, printer, label gun, paper shredder, answering machine, soda machine, candy machine, and postage meter.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS- Both inside and outside environmental conditions, and atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system or skin. Other and/or specific physical demands, machines, tools, equipment, working conditions, etc., required in area of assignment, noted on Job Analysis Form.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:- High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required in accordance with Hawaii state law rules and regulations.
B. EXPERIENCE:- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to type and use other office machines such as a ten-key calculator, copier, etc., preferred.
- Previous storage and supply distribution experience, preferred.
- Medical/Surgical supplies and equipment knowledge preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes required.
