About Your Team

This position reports directly to the Project Manager and indirectly to the Store Manager - Snr. You’ll work closely with Procurement, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, and Site Execution teams while representing the Stores function in client and consultant meetings.


Your Role

As a Stores Manager, you will:

  • Manage site stores operations to align with project schedules, ensuring materials are available to support uninterrupted progress.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning & Construction teams to coordinate timely delivery, issue & tracking of materials.
  • Supervise the Stores team, fostering collaboration, accountability & adherence to company standards.
  • Oversee the accurate receipt, documentation & system entry of all goods in accordance with company policies.
  • Verify materials received against purchase orders, delivery notes & approved specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records, supporting documentation & traceability for all inventory transactions.
  • Monitor stock levels, raise timely requisitions & ensure controlled replenishment based on consumption trends.
  • Investigate & resolve stock issues, implementing corrective actions & process improvements as required.
  • Uphold safe, secure & compliant storage practices while driving continuous improvement in systems usage & team capability.
  • Manage resources, implement strategies, and provide leadership to teams and departments to achieve business performance goals.
  • Promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices within departments, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and contributing to corporate responsibility goals.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvement and innovation projects within teams and functions, streamlining workflows, optimising resources, and delivering measurable efficiency gains.
  • Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialisation.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.


What We’re Looking For


Experience:

Minimum 7 years in a Stores Manager role in construction environment.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong Organisational & Site Coordination Skills
  • Solid Understanding of Materials & Delivery Sequencing
  • Proficiency in Digital Inventory Platforms (BuildSmart, HIVE, HILTI OnTrack)
  • Capable of Interpreting LPOs, Technical Submittals & Material Compliance Documents
  • Skilled Storekeeping or Material Control
  • Supervisory or Project-Level Role
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills


Desirable:

  • Exposure to Lean or Just-In-Time Delivery Concepts
  • Experience Working with Multi-Disciplinary Site Teams
  • Strong Written Documentation & Report Compilation Skills
  • Knowledge of HSE Standards for Material Storage
