Stores Manager (Jeddah & Riyadh)

Job Purpose Statement:


  • To be able to establish an adequate Planning, Organizing, Directing & Control for the entire operation of Main Stores Food & Non-Food in upholding stock integrity.


Roles & Responsibility:


  • Monitor effective implementation of policies and procedure.
  • Ensure proper receiving control in place and all items are received as per the agreed specifications,
  • quantity and price.
  • Ensure proper storage of items with FEFO principle being followed for in house issuance and LIFO for other station supplies.
  • Coordinate with other departments for the need to obtain forecast.
  • Ensure timely Reorder of items with consideration for Stock days limit, space consideration and lead time to order.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded and logged and stock figures up to date.
  • Ensure random checks of stock to ensure stock integrity.
  • Ensure co-ordination and communication with related departments maintained.
  • Ensure tracking of Non-Moving, Near Expiry items, Destruction, Damages and Not Available items and take appropriate action as and when needed.
  • Ensure all employees handling heavy equipment such as forklift are well trained and aware of safety related aspects.
  • Ensure maintenance of Asset list for area under control.
  • Engage in Zero Based budget planning for each financial year.
  • Damages due to expiry or handling to be kept to zero with constant follow up with concern sections.
  • Stock days are in line with the agreed objective targets.
  • Ensure personal count and cost is as per the budget.
  • Ensure Operating cost is as per the approved budget.
  • Ensure all invoices, Rejection, Returns TOG tracking and closing as per the financial period.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all aspects of hygiene and food safety.
  • Ensure safe and hygiene storage area at all times and all deliveries are as per agreed delivery
  • conditions.
  • Ensure daily checks on expiry on very short shelf-life expiry items.
  • Ensure all staff well trained on the Hygiene and food safety.
  • Ensure supplier rating for all supplies is done and receiving logs updated and acknowledged by Hygiene
  • personnel.
  • 2Maintain high staff motivation and morale.
  • Plan for optimum manpower strength based on peak and non-peak operations.
  • Monitor punctuality, absenteeism and personal appearance of staff and take corrective action
  • accordingly.
  • Maintain discipline and take disciplinary action as per Company rules in coordination with the Personnel department.
  • Evaluate staff performance and recommend salary adjustments, terminations, contract renewals and promotions as appropriate and on timely basis.
  • Organize training programs and refresher courses as and when needed to maintain professionalism and high standards.
  • Participate in selection and recruit staff.
  • Constantly review existing procedures and recommend improvement and work methods and systems to increase productivity and efficiency within the department.
  • Ensure job enrichment and enhancement for staff within control by way of job rotations.
  • Assist in career planning of staff under control.
  • Conduct daily briefing and on job training.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field.
  • 8 - 10 Years minimum experience in similar position in any Warehouse or Store establishment.
  • Holder of a valid Driving license is an advantage being a pre-requisite for GSE & Forklift license.
