The Opportunity

As a Business Development Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of our Customer Connections strategy and contributing to ElectraNet's regulated and contracted business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience and contribute to significant energy infrastructure projects across South Australia.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting new business opportunities: Assisting with connection projects and Build, Own, Operate and Maintain business.
  • Contributing to winning proposals: Assisting in the preparation of compelling proposals, bids, and transaction documentation.
  • Facilitating agreements: Supporting the development of contracts and agreements.
  • Bridging technical understanding with business needs: Developing an understanding of our technical capabilities and applying this to customer connection activities.
  • Supporting commercial and financial aspects: Assisting with due diligence and financial activities for new opportunities.
  • Preparing customer facing materials: Helping to create presentations and offer documentation.
  • Engaging key stakeholders: Building strong working relationships with internal and external partners, understanding their challenges and priorities.
About You
  • Experience in identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities, including roles within commercial contracting, account management, or business development.
  • A strong foundation in project support, timeline management, and ensuring smooth execution, skills often honed in roles such as Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or Technical Officer.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong problem solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level organisational skills and experience reviewing and understanding documentation.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • A willingness to learn and develop an understanding of technical concepts and the energy industry.
  • Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
